Application deadline for the Losverfahren: October 05, 2026

Every person who meets the application criteria can participate in the Losverfahren via the KIT application portal and apply for a place in the lottery.

Application at KIT is a paperless process. All documents need to be submitted online in the password-protected part of the application portal. A submission of paper copies is not necessary.

At the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, application deadlines are the same for both Alt-Abiturient*innen (former school graduates) und Neu-Abiturient*innen (recent school graduates)!
