All application deadlines are fixed preclusive deadlines if there are no other deadlines mentioned in the statues and regulations of the degree program. All documents need to be submitted to the Studierendenservice by this preclusive deadline (postal mailings need to be received by the Studierendenservice by this date; the date of mailing is of no relevance!). Should the deadline be on a weekend or on a holiday, §3 section 5 of the Hochschulvergabeordnung takes precedence over §193 BGB!
